Timmy Hollenbeck finished in second place at 11 under par. Colin Schadek claimed third place, Brody Simms took fourth, and Aiden Wilhelm secured fifth. The final round began after a 2.5-hour weather delay. The previously benign weather conditions changed to a blustery day with winds gusting from the southwest. These challenging conditions led to an average final round score of 75.73, more than four shots higher than the average score on Saturday. The easiest hole remained the first, while the par-4 12th was again the hardest. As we conclude the 102nd Metropolitan Championship, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Miami Valley Golf Club for graciously hosting the event. Special recognition goes to Greg Rothstein and his dedicated turf staff for their exceptional efforts in preparing the course daily—truly an outstanding performance. We also sincerely thank Rik Cramer and his golf staff at Miami Valley Golf Club for their warm hospitality. - Tyler Goecke won the 102nd Metropolitan Championship by eight shots, finishing with a record-setting total of 19 under par. His victory was sealed with a string of birdies, but the final round was not without its drama. As the final group stood on the 13th tee, Goecke's lead had shrunk to just two shots after a double bogey on the 12th. Both Goecke and his closest competitor, Timmy Hollenbeck, made par on the 13th. However, Goecke removed all doubt of his impending victory with birdies on the 14th, 15th, 17th, and 18th holes.
