Executive Director/CEO
Steve Jurick

Steve's career with the Association began in October of 1997 when he became the first full time staff member of Miami Valley Golf. At the time, the Miami Valley Golf was in its infancy, just beginning to provide services to the area's clubs and players.

Under Steve's guidance, the MVGA grew to over 50 member clubs, while also taking over stewardship responsibilities for the Dayton District Women's Golf Association (DDWGA), the Dayton Senior Golf Association renamed in 2013 to the Miami Valley Masters.

Before joining the MVGA, Steve developed a strong background in golf course management. He served as Head Professional at Glenview Golf Course in Cincinnati from 1995-1997, and Woodland and Dunham Golf Courses, also in the Queen City, from 1990-1995. Prior to his Head Professional duties, Steve spent time as an Assistant Professional at Spring Lake Golf Club on the New Jersey coast, and at Manatee Cove Golf Club on the east coast of Florida.

Steve is known as an innovative golf executive for one of the country’s most dynamic associations. He is a strategic leader with a lifelong devotion and contagious passion for the game. He is known for his dedication to promoting golf as a recreational industry and for his commitment to the proliferation of golf’s ideals.
