 - With a solid golf and coaching background, has joined Miami Valley Golf as our Senior Tournament Manager. Raised in Centerville and having played college golf at Wright State, he distinguished himself as a two-year team captain. Following his graduation, Conner spent summers caddying at Muirfield Village Golf Club and winters at The Bears Club in Jupiter, Florida. These experiences granted him insights into the inner workings of elite-level golf and helped him establish valuable connections within the industry. Conner later transitioned to professional caddying on the LPGA tour, working alongside Cincinnati native Marissa Steen. However, with the onset of the challenges posed by the COVID era, Conner shifted his focus towards coaching. In the spring of 2020, he returned to his alma mater as a volunteer coach while also assisting with golf operations at WGC Golf Course. Since the summer of 2021, Conner has been serving as the head coach at Wright State. In his third year as head coach, he not only brings a wealth of experience but also a strong connection to youth and the collegiate golf scene which will be beneficial to his position with Miami Valley Golf. In his upcoming ro le as Miami Valley Golf's Senior Tournament Director, Conner will oversee course setup, be responsible for the development and recruitment of tournament staff and interns and ensure events continue to improve for our area golfers.
