- Is a woman with a passion for golf and a heart full of dedication. For close to 30 years, she has been an invaluable volunteer at Miami Valley Golf, leaving her mark on the local golfing community.

Daryl's involvement began when she joined the Board of the Dayton District Women's Golf Association (DDWGA) Course Rating Committee. Her meticulous attention to detail and love for the game made her an ideal candidate for this role. In the early 2000s, she extended her commitment and joined the MVGA Foundation Board, where she plays a vital role in promoting and supporting golf in the region.

In addition to her administrative contributions, Daryl eagerly offers her time to various golf tournaments. She volunteered as a scorer at the US Open Qualifier and the Ohio Amateur Qualifier.

As an avid golfer herself, Daryl is a member of the Country Club of the North (CCN). Golf has been a part of her life since she was just five years old when she took junior lessons and discovered her natural talent for the game. Throughout the years, she has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments on the golf course.

Daryl's golfing journey includes club championships at Greene Country Club and CCN. She has an impressive record in the Dayton City Women's Amateur Championships, triumphing four times. In 2009, she clinched the WOSGA Senior Championship title, and in 2003, she became the OSWIGA Champion, proving her mettle in senior women's golf. Daryl's skill and dedication led her to qualify for the US Senior Women's Amateur twice, an achievement that highlighted her skill in the game.

Such an illustrious golfing career did not go unnoticed, and in 2011, Daryl received a well-deserved honor. She was inducted into the prestigious Dayton Golf Hall of Fame, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the game and the local golfing community.

Beyond the golf course, Daryl pursued a fulfilling career as a dental hygienist for 31 years, having graduated from the University of Michigan. Her dedication to service extended beyond her professional life as she actively volunteers for numerous activities at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She serves on the Endowment Fund committee, works on the Third Thursday food program, contributes to the Altar Guild, plays handbells, and lends her voice to the church choir.

In her leisure time, Daryl finds joy in various hobbies and interests. She plays pickleball, tends to her beloved garden, quilts, and indulges in various crafts. Cooking is another passion she embraces.

Throughout her life, Daryl has the loving support of her husband, Terry, with whom she has shared 51 years of marriage. They cherish their time together and spend there winter months each year in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, to be closer to their family.

To complete their family, Daryl and Terry are proud parents to two sons, Kevin and Michael, as well as four grandchildren. Additionally, their family includes a cherished feline companion named Bunker.
