His fascination with golf began during his childhood, a tradition passed down by his father. Those early rounds with his dad instilled a lifelong passion. Don's love for the sport deepened when he worked at the Ohio University Golf Course during his college years. It was there that golf ceased to be just a pastime and transformed into a serious pursuit.

In the year 2022, Don proudly claimed the title of the Sycamore Creek Member Guest Flight Winner.

When he's not perfecting his swing or volunteering, Don dedicates himself to a fulfilling career at Aerotech Industrial Automation and Robotics, where he brings his expertise to the forefront of innovation.

Don's commitment to his community goes beyond the golf course and his workplace. He volunteers at Upward Sports (which is a faith-based approach to sports), lends a helping hand to Waynesville Football, and engages in various mission efforts through Living Water Lutheran Church. His devotion to these causes reflects his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on those around him.

But Don's interests don't end there. He's an ardent motor sports fan, particularly enthusiastic about Formula 1 races. One of the most intriguing aspects of Don's life story is his past experience working with an ARCA/NASCAR Truck driver as an over-the-wall pit crew member.

His heart also belongs to the Cincinnati Reds and the Columbus Blue Jackets. In addition, he enjoys learning to play pickleball, camping and riding ATV’s.

For over three decades, Don has shared his life's journey with his beloved wife, Trisha. Together, they raised three remarkable daughters, all of whom became competitive gymnasts. Now, their family is expanding with the arrival of two grandchildren, soon to be a total of four, bringing even more joy and love into their lives.
