- As we progress further into our season, Bryce Haney continues to hold the lead in our Player of the Year Race with 457.5 points. He added another 50 points to his total thanks to his outstanding performance in the Ohio Amateur earlier this month. 

Tyler Goecke jumped from third place to second, now at 362.5 points, also earning additional points by finishing in the top ten of the Ohio Amateur. Mikkel Mathiesen, our 2023 Metropolitan Champion, moved up to third place with 325 points. He secured 200 points for his victory in the 101st Metropolitan and his top 20 finish in the Ohio Amateur. Rounding out the top four is Shane Ochs with 300 points, achieving his position through a second-place finish in the Metro, impressive play in the Ohio Amateur, and a top 20 finish in the US Open Local. 

In the Mid Am Division, Jeff Scohy leads with 245 points. He increased his total by winning the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship in late June and securing a T-12 finish in the Miami Valley Metropolitan. Pete Samborsky is not far behind, in his final year of Mid-Am Eligibility. 

Moving on to the Senior Division, Curt Cranmer holds the lead, while three strong players, David Clancy, Ron Eubel, and Roger Johnson, are tied for second.

There are still a few Mid Am and Senior Events remaining that can contribute to the rankings, and much will be decided at the upcoming Mid-Amateur and Senior Metropolitan at the end of August at Sugar Valley.
