Entering the final round with a 7 shot lead was a nice cushion for the Ball State Senior to be, however, that is not to say the final round did not get interesting. Zach bogied holes 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8 while Jeff Scohy who started the day 7 shots birdied holes 2, 4 & 8 to take the lead as they stood on #9 Tee. As they made the turn the wind really started to pick up and that seemed to kick Zack back into gear as he played the back side 4 under. Scohy has not done with his fine play eagling the #11 to extend his lead to 2 shots. Jeff then hit a tree with his second shot on 12 which lead to a bogey as Zach birdied. Zach then birdied 13 to take his lead back extended his lead to 3 on hole #16 as he made birdie to Jeff's Bogey. |
