 We are sorry to report
Donna_Wiseman_Chipping- Donna Mae Wiseman, an avid golfer and dedicated member of the community, passed away at Hospice of Dayton on August 6, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on June 17, 1947, to parents Raymond T. and Iris D. Wiseman, Donna grew up surrounded by love and warmth. She is preceded in death by her parents, but leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories.

Donna's passion for golf was evident throughout her life. She served as the Dayton District Golf Treasurer from 2005 to 2009, demonstrating her commitment to the sport. She was a lifetime golfer and maintained her membership in the Community Womens Golf Association until her passing. Donna was a skilled golfer who generously shared her advice and even her extra golf clubs with fellow members.

Her generosity extended beyond the golf course. Donna had a caring heart and a giving soul, regularly donating to various charities and individuals in need. She believed in making a positive impact on those around her.

Donna was an adventurer at heart, relishing her travels to places like Africa, Europe, Great Britain, Ireland, and numerous National Parks across the United States. Her meticulous planning ensured that every trip was a perfectly orchestrated experience for everyone involved.

Professionally, Donna dedicated much of her adult life to N.C.R. of Dayton, where she worked as an Investment Services Manager. Her commitment to her work was evident, and she retired in 2010 when N.C.R. moved its operations to Atlanta, Georgia.

Beyond her professional achievements and golfing prowess, Donna was known for her culinary skills, crafting talents, and seamstress expertise. Her Christmas fruitcake was a cherished tradition among her friends, eagerly awaited each holiday season. Her thoughtful and practical approach to life was encapsulated in her favorite saying, "Let's think about this..."

In the face of adversity, Donna exhibited remarkable courage, strength, and grace. Her passing mirrors the way she lived her life, with the same determination and faith that she displayed in everything she did.

True to her practical nature, Donna expressed her wish for no formal services. She believed that death is the next great adventure, a sentiment shared by J.K. Rowling. Instead of services, Donna's memory can be honored through contributions to Hospice of Dayton, an organization that provides comfort and support during life's final journey. Contributions can be made in her name to Hospice of Dayton at 412 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420 or online at http://www.hospiceofdayton.org/. Donna Wiseman's legacy of generosity, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of her dear friends, her surviving brother Kent Wiseman, nephew Joshua Shane Wiseman, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
