 Della Green and Marva Cosby at Mercedes Event

- Marva Cosby, a cherished community leader and dedicated advocate for positive change, has passed away. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her, yet her legacy of compassion and service will undoubtedly continue to inspire for generations.

Marva's commitment to the Dayton community was unparalleled. As an active participant in numerous charitable initiatives, she selflessly devoted her time and energy to improving the lives of others. Her tireless efforts as a volunteer and advocate for social causes left an indelible mark on the community she held dear.

Among Marva's many areas of service was her role as Chair of the Dayton Foundation's Governing Board, where her leadership and vision played a pivotal role in guiding the organization towards achieving its mission of philanthropic excellence.

Marva also had a deep love for the game of golf. She served as a dedicated course rater and was actively involved in various golf organizations throughout the years.

Marva Cosby will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of generosity and service will continue to shine brightly, inspiring others to emulate her example.

The Service is Saturday, 2/17 at Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Road. Family visitation will begin at 10AM followed by the funeral service at 11AM.
