- A remarkable golfer and winner of numerous championships, including Miami Valley Golf's, 2004 Match Play, 2010 Metropolitan, and the two-time defending Mid-Amateur Champion. His latest triumph came in the 114th Tony Blom Metropolitan, organized by the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association the week of June 19th. 

The Championship started with a 36-Hole Stroke Play Qualifier, consisting of one round at Clovernook Country Club and another at Elks Run Golf Club. Scohy's performance in the qualifier earned him an impressive 5th seed, thanks to his rounds of 67 and 72. 

Continuing his impressive form, Scohy smoothly advanced through the initial rounds of match play. He demonstrated remarkable determination in the quarterfinals, securing a 3 & 2 victory over AJ Wilhelm. Building on his momentum, he achieved a convincing 6 & 5 triumph over Jack Neville in the semifinals. In the final match against the 22nd seed, Brett Podobinski, Scohy faced a setback as his 2-hole lead after 10 holes disappeared. However, he persevered and ultimately secured the championship trophy by driving the 18th green and successfully two-putting for birdie, capturing the prestigious title.
