 Tracy Murray
-Tracy Murray is a dedicated and passionate advocate for golf and community service, bringing her love for the sport and her commitment to education and volunteerism to every role she undertakes.

A resident of Tipp City, Ohio, Tracy has been a Miami Valley Golf volunteer for six years, serving as a scorer at various events. Her interest in golf was inspired by her husband, who coached high school girls’ golf in Tipp City for 15 years. Tracy herself plays frequently and has enjoyed a successful journey in golf, placing sixth in a national event with the LPGA Amateurs in Palm Springs.

Tracy's professional background as a retired teacher from Milton-Union Schools reflects her deep-seated dedication to education. She extends this passion through her work as a tutor with Codebreakers, where she helps children learn to read. In addition, Tracy is actively involved in several volunteer initiatives, including Crayons to Classrooms, Kids' Life at her church, and the Tipp City girls' golf program. She has also volunteered for six years with the LPGA Amateurs' beginner league, and she serves on the LPGA Amateurs' Communications team and as a board member.

Tracy's dedication to the sport of golf is also reflected in her family's involvement. Her two daughters grew up playing golf with the Miami Valley Golf Association, PGA Junior Series, AJGA, and USGA, ultimately earning Division I scholarships. Laura attended the University of Akron, while Lindsey attended Xavier University.

In addition to her commitment to golf and community, Tracy enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including reading, pickleball, gardening, bike riding, and participating in exercise classes at the YMCA. She also contributes her time to the leaderboard team at the Memorial PGA Tournament, adding to her impressive list of volunteer commitments.

Through her work and personal interests, Tracy exemplifies the values of service, learning, and community involvement, making her a valued member of the Miami Valley Golf family and beyond.
