Wendy Mockabee joined the Miami Valley Golf Association in February 2021.  Prior to joining MVGA, Wendy spent 18 years in the field of education where she taught everything from preschool to fifth grade in both private and public-school settings. In 2015, Wendy decided it was time for a change.  She was given the opportunity to join First Tee-Greater Miami Valley as Director of Outreach and Administration and head coach.  She later advanced to Program Director and remained in that role until the chapter closed its doors in September of 2020.  During her time at FTGMV, she was responsible for the development and management of the chapter’s youth programming.  She supervised and trained all coaches and volunteers at 7 different program sites in a three-county area.  She also provided administrative support in the form of bookkeeping, payroll processing, and donor database management.   

Originally from Elida, Ohio, Wendy currently resides in Lebanon with her husband Gary and their son, Owen.  When not on the golf course watching Owen, Wendy enjoys running, baking, traveling, and spending time with family.
