 What a great day for golf at Troy Country Club, where our area's best mixed teams competed in the annual Mixed Metropolitan Championship. The weather was "fall like" with low humidity, temps in the low 80's and a bright blue sky.The Mixed Champion Team was made up of Lori & Mike Schroeder. They fired a 4 under-par total of 66 to claim first place in the Modified Chapman Format. Our Net Winners were: First Flight- Mary and Bruce Callaway; Second Flight- Cindy Byrd and Tom Toberen; Third Flight- Nella and Jesse Lewis. Congrats to all our winners! Following the round, the couples enjoyed a great dinner prepared by the staff at Troy CC. Thanks to the entire membership and staff at Troy CC and all of our competitors for making the event so much fun for everyone. |
