The 2009 Norm Bullock Invitational started off with clear, but chilly skies on Sunday morning. Hours later the sun gave way to clouds, rain, and a steady wind that only the most focused golfer could play through. Irrespective of the rain and wind, the seven teams that competed in the Norm Bullock Invitational posted two solid rounds of team scores in the end, leaving Indiana Purdue Fort Worth (IPFW) with the title by shooting a total score of 582, narrowly defeating Loyola University Chicago whose team score finished at 585. On the individual side, Kent Monas of Cleveland State University took medalist honors with a 139 (71-68). In second place, also from Cleveland State University, was Jacob Scott with a 142 (74-68). Third place went to Ryan Olpin of IUPFW with a total score of 143 (70-73). View the complete results by clicking HERE. |
