| Jeff Scohy & Dan DeVore Earn MVGA Player of the Year Awardspresented by Dayton Freight | |
 Scohy captured his second MVGA Player of the Year title in the past five years. His consistent play this season was highlighted by advancing to the second stage of the US Open Qualifier, finishing tied for third in the Ohio Mid Am, qualifying for the US Mid Am., being one of three players selected to represent team Ohio in the USGA State Team Championship and finishing tied for 6th in the Miami Valley Metropolitan Championship making an ace during his final round. |

 Being a past Senior Metropolitan Champion, DeVore is not a new name in the Senior ranks, however this is the first time he has captured the Senior Player of the Year Honors. His strong finishes in the Ohio Senior Amateur, the MVGA Senior Metropolitan along with a top ten in the US Senior Amateur Qualifier was enough to secure Senior Player of the Year Honors. | |
