Day 7 Mentors Matter July 3, 2007 |
| Today, the kids continued to develop their game of golf. Half of the group was with Steve on the range practicing full swings. With a little instruction from the mentors the kids really started to get the hang of it. The other half of the group was with David working on chipping. The goal for this group was to learn how to chip and get it closest to the hole. Again, with help from the mentors the kids improved towards the end of the session. After lunch Scott and Jennifer had the kids go around and say something complementing about another person. This seemed to be a good activity and everyone seemed to be interested in it. All in all the day went real well and we are looking forward to next week's activities. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July. |
