FROM THE SHORT GRASS FOR THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER
RESULTS FROM THE CELEBRATIONOctober 13, 2018

Our Final Event for the 2018 Golf Season was held this past Monday at Dayton CC under dry skies and warm conditions.

The Celebration brings all our different groups together to celebrate our 2018 golf season, to recognize those who have distinguished themselves through their play and/or service and lastly, to capture and remember the spirit of Dr. Philip Hughes who was the second President of Miami Valley Golf.

The Team of Vic Haddad, Dan Sutherly, John Sherman and Mike Hartsock won the days play in the variable net best ball event.  Congrats to all who played and thanks to Dayton CC for hosting!

rules change - dropping ball from knee height
In 2019, instead of dropping the ball from shoulder height, you drop the ball from knee height.  Don't worry, if you drop it any other way, just pick the ball up and drop it the correct way.
