Brian Davis has withdrawn from the U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier at Springfield Country Club. Cole Taylor of Oakland, Illinois will be his replacement. Cole is an aspiring golf professional who has primarily been playing mini-tour events in Florida while also attempting to Monday qualify for Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour events. He originally earned his alternate status after shooting 69 in the local qualifying event in Sarasota, Florida.Taylor is now one of 34 players competing on Monday, June 6th for two spots into the United States Open Championship.
