The First Ceremonial was played on a beautiful fall day at Moraine Country Club on October 11th.  The golf format of the day was a 1-2-3 Better Ball, which led to a two-way tie Gross winning score of 138 (-2). With darkness quickly approaching, the tie was broken using the USGA's Regression Method.  Moraine's own team of Pat Koons, Mike Cronin, John Sherman and Brooks Kerrick was determined the winner.    The winning Net team was comprised of Linda Bailey, Chuck Norman, Larry Couchot and Shawn Mathis with a score of 124 (-16).

A perfect day of golf was highlighted with the recognition of Harry Murray for his many years of service to our game.  We topped the evening off by rewarding our Player of the Year Award to the young Michael Bernard, who we hope to watch play for years to come, and our Senior Player of the Year, the ever-consistent Bob Jones.

Next year's event, the Second Annual Ceremonial, will be held on Monday, October 3rd at Browns Run Country Club.
