Masters Event Info for Wildwood GC on 8/19/19

Thank you for registering for the Miami Valley Masters Event to be held this upcoming Monday at Wildwood Golf Club.

These Groupings are very fluid. If there are people that are not registered who are expecting to play, please have them email steve@mvgolf.org or call the association office at 937-294-6842.

The format is individual play with low gross and low net places being award in each division. Please record your actual score on your scorecard, play the ball as it lies and hole all putts if you want to be eligible for prizes.

Play will be from the White Tee Markers (Approx 6000 yards) for all divisions except the oldest two divisions that will play from the Gold Tees (Approx 5400 yards) . (Ages 77 and Older) If you would like to play a different set of tees please let us know prior to teeing off.

SCORING
There will be two ways to return your official scorecard. Electronic or the Printed scorecard which will be on your Golf Cart. Scorecards will be accepted for 45 minutes after the first Electronic Scorecard is returned. Upon which time all scorecards will be certified and results announced. If you do not have the app, please download the USGA Tournament App (Icon to the Left) prior to your arrival. *To Download the Apple or Google App*
LOCAL RULE FOR STROKE AND DISTANCE PENALTIES WILL BE IN EFFECT.
The 2019 Local Rules and Conditions of Competition have been updated to reflect the current revisions within the rules of golf and our competitions committee has also decided to adopt the Local Rule for a Ball that is Lost or Out of Bounds (E-5) for this event. This Local Rule does not prevent you from playing a provisional ball and in most cases it is still wise to do so. This local rule is not available to the first ball when you put a provisional ball into play. If you have questions on this local rule please see Steve Jurick on Monday. 11:30am - Practice Area Opens (Cart Shuttles will be available for Transportation to the Range) Registration for Optional Skins Game for $20. Buffet Lunch for $15 1pm - Shotgun Start After Play - Dinner (Included with Entry) Scoring & Awards
OPTIONAL SKINS GAME
$20 Optional Net and Gross Skins Game is available. (One Fund for all those playing with Net and Gross Skins Awarded.)
