Golf My Future My Game Visits The Hitoric Clearview GC
Golf My Future My Game along with the 2k Foundation put together an incredible day at Clearview Golf Club.
GMFMG_Renee_PowellClearview Golf Club was created by William "Bill" Powell when he faced racial discrimination at golf courses after he returned from World War II. It was then when he decided to build a golf course that welcomed anyone and everyone. Clearview was the first course designed, built, owned, and operated by an African American and was named a National Historic Site by the US Department of the Interior in 2001.

Clearview is still operated by William Powell's children Larry Powell, Superintendent, and Renee Powell, PGA Head Golf Professional.

The Golf My Future My Game kids listened to Dr. Renee Powell as she shared a countless number of incredible stories and explained to them the importance of them continuing the legacy that her father has built.
