| Ohio Amateur Qualifier this Tuesday |
 The path to the 2021 Ohio Amateur, which will be held July 26-30, at Avalon Golf and Country Club in Warren, Ohio goes through NCR CC's North Course on Tuesday, June 1st.
The NCR Qualifier is one of six qualifiers held throughout the state. There will be 113 golfers competing for 27 qualifying positions at NCR.
Golfers from the Miami Valley where well represented last year as Austin Greaser from Vandalia, won the 114th edition with an 8 shot victory over Bryce Haney another local from Huber Heights. Also finishing in the top ten and already exempt into the championship from our area are Dhaivat Pandya, Josh Gilkison, Hayden Zimmerer and Cole Corder.
Spectators are welcome at the Qualifier on Tuesday but Spectator Carts are prohibited.

| MASTERS START THE SEASON AT WALNUT GROVE |
After a year off due to COVID and a two week delay because of rain the First Masters Event finally was played at Walnut Grove Country Club this past Monday, May 24th.

| Miami Valley Golf Club Offering Scratch Events this Summer |
In a move to add additional playing opportunities at one of our area gems, Miami Valley Golf Club will be hosting a series of Scratch Events this summer, all open to the public. They are calling it their 2021 Championship Series.

| US Open Final Stage Set |
| Monday, June 7th at Springfield CC |
 The eyes of the Golf World will be on Springfield CC on Monday, June 7th when SCC along with eight other sites hold the US Open Final Stage Qualifying.
While this is the 121st US Open, Qualifying for entry into the championship proper, only dates back to 1924 and the Two Stage Qualifying Process began in 1959. | Junior Optimist Registration Open |
 The Optimist Junior Golf Program is an exciting and unique junior golf program for ages 10-18. More than 5,000 boys and girls throughout the United States and Canada and in several foreign countries compete in official Optimist qualifying tournaments. The best of these golfers, along with international golfers from around the globe, advance to the annual Optimist International Junior Golf Championship. Commonly referred to as simply The Optimist, it is one of the largest and most prestigious junior golf events in the world. In addition to top-level tournament golf, participants have the opportunity to meet new friends and to have a great deal of fun.  The DDWGA this summer will be having Two Get a Girl Golfing Free Sessions on Monday, June 21 and Monday, June 28 at Community GC and then offer a four week session also at Community the following four weeks.

| Community to Offer Junior Programming |
Open to Juniors Age 8 to 15, Community's Junior Golf Lessons will be a great way to introduce your Junior to a game of a lifetime. Open to both genders, these sessions will be held in two-week sessions Tuesday through Thursday beginning at 10am. Lessons will be led by the staff at Community Golf Course and Registration will be stewarded by the Miami Valley Golf Association.
