Our Player of the Year has been one of our best players for close to 20 years now, and a strong argument can be made for one of our best ever having won the Metropolitan Championship five times, one more victory than our inaugural champion, Vin Hilton and Longtime Ohio State Golf Coach Bob Kepler but many would be surprised that he has not won the Player of the Year Honors for 12 years, having last won in 2007 and he also won our inaugural player of the year award in 2006. 

He received the player of the year honors by finishing 5th in this year Metropolitan, Winning the MVGA Mid-Amateur last month at Springfield CC, finishing in the top 10 in the Ohio Amateur and by finishing tied for second in the Ohio Mid Amateur.
